update 3/11/08 1:22 pm

This morning has been good. He's getting good numbers and they are backing off everything except giving him blood. They will do a little surgery tomorrow to help the pressure off the lungs but the big surgeon will be the one that does it. He's the one that put the lungs in so I'm glad he gets to do the surgery.
I'm feeling better about his prognosis so I am going to get a hotel room next to the hospital and go to sleep for a few hours. Tom will stay with him and I can get back here in less than five minutes if I need to.
I hope I haven't been scaring people with these blogs, I just want to keep all of Will's support group in the loop. The prayers that we get are unbelievable from all over. We can't thank you enough. Hang with us and together with God we will pull him through this. Ok?
I will update after I get back here tonight. Love to you all

FYI This is Tom and my anniversary. 36 years today. I feel very lucky that he has hung onto this old lady that long. Time flies by when you're having fun.

I just got done posting on the previous blog. Then I saw this one. I know this probably won't be the best anniversary you have ever celebrated, but Thank God you have each other and that God has helped Will yet another time--or should I say is still helping Will! Love, Karen

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TERRI AND TOM!!!

Terri thank you SO much for the detailed information. It means so much and I know it must be so hard for you. I know it's not the news you want to have come our way but like you said God has a plan. I truly believe there must be a reason that the surgeon needs to do what he is doing tomorrow! Maybe He just wants him to check everything over again before Will get up and starts harassing all of us. LOL
Our thoughts and prayers are with you always (day and night!)

Even though we moved from Hagerman doesn't mean we've forgotten the people we loved while there. You have all been in our hearts and prayers. God will continue to hold this whole situation in his hands and continue to give you the strength you need to endure moment by moment.
Happiest Anniversary!!
Love,
Michelle, Jerrod, & Drew Vaughn

Hey, congratulations on your anniversary! Will and Angel are so lucky to have you as parents. Will, hang in there. Wouldn't it be nice if God would answer prayers on our time instead of His? However, we know that He knows better than we do what is best for us. Look at this blog. Look how many people are pulling together and look how many prayers are being prayed. Will, you are doing that. Because so many people love you, you are bringing so much glory to God. Keep fighting. Love and prayers from Karrie and Jeff

Well I'm pretty sure this is long overdue, but being punctual was never my thing. I just wanted Will to know that he's never too far from my thoughts. You were a big part of my life growing up and quite a role model. I just wanted to say I admire your courage, strength, and humility. I'm not sure if you realize how much you inspired me to appreciate things in life. I was truly honored to have you as a coach and even more to have you as a friend. I really hope you get back to the old Will soon. Maybe we can play a game of 'you owe me a pepsi' when you get back.

Take Care,

Andy Stephenson

Tom and Terri and Will - Judi Boyce was kind enough to give me Will's blog and I have been keeping track for several days. Just wanted you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We know you are on such a roller coaster ride but we are praying hard and sending only good thoughts your way. It sounds like Will is such an awesome kid - hope we can meet him and you, Terri, and Angel too one day - and hope to see you again too Tom - it sounds like you have a wonderful, wonderful family!
Hang in there kids!
Love,
Denise and Lonnie
