They just came and got Will's xray. This is the time they do the hospital patients. So Will had a pretty quiet evening. He is getting his sats down and that's good. The doctors have talked themselves out of doing ct scan at this time. To do the contrasting ct, they have to put dye in him and it could cause kidney damage. His kidneys are already compromised because of all the fluid going through him. So they decided to wait. Good call, drs. They kept him sleeping all evening and through the night. He just wakes up for a few minutes to ask for more pain meds. They do roll him every two hours to keep bed sores from developing. He doesn't like that because it hurts but he lets them do it anyway. So we will see what today brings. I haven't got a clue what is on the agenda for today. Probably trying to get Will's vent settings lowered. They have to do it slowly.

I just wanted to tell you what all the comments and emails have done for us as parents and for Will. We read them to him but he ones that have been sent today and yesterday will have to wait until he comes off of the meds. There is one particular that was sent to my email (harbisonterri@hotmail.com) today that meant so much. I know this person doesn't want to share it with everyone but JW you're pretty special. It's going to mean a lot to Will to hear what you had to say. This was way back when Will was in high school. WOW. Will is still giving people inspiration. Again, we feel very privileged to be able to call him our son.

I forgot to mention that yesterday was the one month anniversary of Will's new lungs. They are going to be so good when we get everything working the right way. I will keep everyone updated when we know anything today. Praying is the most powerful way to help right now, so thank you all for your prayers. (And the comments help us to keep Will motivated)

I hope God pours out His blessings on all of you like He has done for us.

Hi Willie ,
Sorry I haven't written the last few days but you're always in my thoughts and prayers. I was in Washington DC yesterday and called Bush but he wouldn't take my call. I guess he was busy. Portland today and tonight and then back to Salt Lake. If you feel up to some company I'll swing by Wednesday. UCLA all the way baby. Say hello to you're Mom and Dad.

Will keep up the great work! Hopefully the docs will find out why it all isn't working to perfection yet. Glad to hear your numbers are getting better. Great news like that is always a blessing!!!
Martin and I celebrated our 7th Anniversary yesterday! I know can you believe it? It'll be 10 years in July since we started dating. Incredible! I had called him in the a.m. to say please don't get anything because though we had spent a day together I hadn't bought him anything. His response was "you've given me 2 beautiful children and 7 wonderful years!" So sweet huh? I think he's almost as great at Tom, Terri! LOL
Well, Will get some rest and let your body heal. Our kids have been on breathing treatments because of all the pollen in the air, of course I think of Will with his mask too. I'll have to send the pic of Mason doing a treatment sitting in his wooden airplane (like a rocking horse). It's so cute, he's totally zoning watching a movie.
XOXO from FL

Terri the news broadcast was great! You looked and sounded wonderful. Will, you looked good too! Can't wait to see you back on that basketball court! How far is your mom making you walk when you get home? You know that is called child abuse to kick you child out of the car and make them walk too far. LOL
Can't wait! I'd love to be there if I can...
