June 16 Monday 3:02 am

I hope everyone had a great Father's Day. Most of the nurses had bbq's with thier dads today. It was hot today, close to 90 degrees. We have an apt. that has a pool. It's already opened and kids were all over it today as I was driving past. Good summer days.

Well, Will had an uneventful day today except for the game tonight. Celtics were almost there so we will get those Lakers next game. His xrays showed that his lungs are about the same. The docs are still trying lasix to get the fluids off. Will isn't cooperating very well. They will do it for another day and then stop it. His kidneys aren't taking it so well. He hasn't had hardly any more blood so the new trach is working. He is still sleeping most of the day but his body is needing it to get over this pnomonia. He did stand for a few minutes this morning so they can change his bed. Hopefully he won't lose all the ground he gained. So the docs might start t-trials again tomorrow if he shows he has some strength. One more day until Dr. Cahill comes back. Will really does need to have her here. She's his safety net. I hope to get a picture with her for the blog so you can have a face with a name.

God never gives us more than we can handle, I DO believe that. So this is just another little set back. We will get back to where we were in no time. Everyone has been expressing their concern but we will get through this also. Thank you all for your emails and comments on the blog. We look forward to them so much because we miss you all.

God bless

We have grandkids for the week. It will be very busy fun. They are sleeping and it is quiet and since I am awake I am getting a jump on my morning stuff---blog, news, weather, and reflecting on what God has for today. I am reminded of the insecurities of Moses and how God was so patient and used him in a mighty way. I think of Gideon's fears when God told him what to do and how God protected and used him. Even Jonah in his total rebellion was used of God. It just reassures me that God is perfect and knows our every personality trait because He created each one just the way He wanted. Whether we are fearful, insecure, or whatever we are feeling, God is always there telling us to LOOK TO HIM for everything. I know you already know this. I am going back to bed. Love you all

Wanted to share my devotion today . . In Romans 8:31 we read that "God is for us!" God is not looking out for our worst, He's looking our for our best. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." God's thoughts towards us are those of eternal care and concern. What a wonderful truth to rest on throughout the day. God is for us. He is not against us. He's looking out for our best. He's seeking to lead us into making good decisions throughout the day that will bless others, myself and ultimately bring glory to Him.
