June 22, 2008 Sunday 2:42 am

Sunday morning, there's something special about this day of the week.
Will had a pretty good day. He started the day at 7:20 am with the dialysis people coming in and wanting to start his three hour dialysis. He wasn't very happy to have to wake up that early, but it was done. Then he rested because dialysis really wears you out. He did do two t-trials and he stood for a couple of minutes. Now that there is no more basketball to watch, there's not much to see on TV.

Will has a day off today from dialysis so hopefully we can get a few more standing exercises. He is looking good. They took off another 3 liters for a total of 8 liters. That equals to 17 pounds of fluid now off his body. He probably has another 40 pounds to go. They will do another xray and blood workup to see how his kidneys are recuperating. I will let you know. Thanks for the love, things are looking a little better.
God bless

Good to hear :)

I've been a long time reader, pretransplant, but I don't really comment much. I wanted to let you know that your late night posts are often a bright spot in my typical wind down before bed.

I've been praying for you. Will has amazing strength, something I will try an emulate when it becomes time for me to get a lung transplant, whenever that may be.

Here's to hoping you see a major improvement on how you are feeling with the liquid being removed & getting rid of all the toxins. I beleive you are going to do so fantastic now. Will, you are definately an amazing person and have such a great attitude about all things being thrown your way. Keep up the good work. God Bless you & yours. - M

Will,
I'm so happy to hear the good reports and updates. I hope you begin to feel better and better each day. I'll be praying for you today that the fluid continues to come off.
Have a great Sunday to you, Terri and Tom.
Love you all, Katie

Just want you to know that I've been thinking about you a lot the last couple of weeks. I'm not on the computer much since I've been planning my trip and on my travels to Idaho to see dad and the family. Went to church today with them and missed you all very much. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all even when I'm not blogging.
xoxo
