MY CHRISTMAS PRESENT
Our good, good friends and neighbors from Hagerman surprised us on Christmas day and came up to visit. We had a wonderful dinner together and then sat around and played games. They stayed the night and we just got to visit some more. It was just what I asked from Santa.
Thanks Richard, Kim, Hayley and Riley White. We love you for surprising us that way.

A very, very, Merry Christmas
What a great time of year. God's love is everywhere.
Everyone has been enjoying their families.
I thought we would have a pair of lungs by now but was I wrong and it's okay!
We will wait for God's perfect timing.
Anyway, for all our family and friends, stay safe and we love you all.
Thanks for the support and all your prayers.

Our little house
Here is the outside of our house that we have decorated up for Christmas. This is our little patio.
It's not as good as Aaron did for our big house but it is great for us.
Merry Christmas and remember that Jesus is the real reason for this season. We are have a great holiday so far and maybe we can have an even better one soon. You are all in our prayers.
Ho! Ho! Ho!
Angel and Aaron came down for the weekend. We had our Christmas with our almost son-in-law, and exchanged gifts. We had a great time. It went too fast though. We went shopping and more shopping and more shopping. Then on Saturday we had a very nice dinner and opened presents. It was so much fun. We all love it when we can be together.
Such a surprise!!!!!
On Friday, I was sitting in the waiting room while Willie was doing his exercises. I got a call and was told that Sarah was wanting to see me by the gift shop at the hospital. Wow!! I didn't think I would be able to see her until Will was all done with his transplant. (The doctors say that they need to stay apart because of cross-contamination) So I got to visit with her for quite a while and she looked fantastic. She was able to share quite a bit of info of what she has gone through. That was good for us. For those of you that don't remember, this young lady was waiting for a transplant like Willie. But she needed it NOW. God showed his love once again and provided her with a set of lungs that are working wonderfully. She is now at home (the fastest recovery time of anybody with a lung transplant at the University hospital) and going to spend her Christmas with her children. I wish I had better adjectives to describe how well she is doing but-----WOW!!!!!. You can't really see her to well with this picture because she needs to keep her mask on at all times in public. But to me, she is beautiful and a great spirit.
Will is feeling great and he's really got a lift from knowing how well Sarah has done. All of us has gotten a lot from her and her family.
Another Great Weekend
We decided we really love these weekends. We have so much company that we have to keep track by taking pictures. We started by getting a call from Willie's Uncle Dave. He is a Delta Pilot. He came and took us to dinner Thursday night. It was so nice just to relax and visit. Poor, poor Dave. I was really worried that he was going to have to fly on a terrible weather day like this but he told me not to worry too much. He flies a few hours to Cancun, Mexico and then has 24 hours to sit on the beach and drink funny umbrella drinks until he has to come back home. Poor, poor Davey. (you know I had to slap him just a little bit)
Anyway this shot was taken at David's hotel when we took him back.

Family's growing
Last night Angel got engaged to a wonderful guy. His name is Aaron and they do love each other a lot. It was all very romantic. But no news on the wedding date because it all kind of centers on what is happening up here in Salt Lake City or if we will be home by summer.
I feel like we will be home soon.
Aaron is going to be a wonderful addition to our family and he does have great relatives that we already love.
Fun Times in Salt Lake
Well things were just jumping all over the place this weekend. Our good friends, the Jester's, came by visited us on Friday on their way to the National Finals Rodeo. We had such a great time and we went out and saw the lights in the temple square downtown. They were beautiful. Willie didn't go out with us because it was cold but I don't think he would have anyway. He's not into that so much.
Then Willie's high school coach and best friend, Randy Clark, came down on Saturday. They took a tour of the Westminster sports facility. Then we toured the local mall. Will came home and rested for awhile. Then we had a nice dinner and went to the Westminster bb game. It was so much fun seeing those two together doing what they do best---basketball. Anyway good weekend. Good friends.

Tom's early present
Tom FINALLY got a new pickup. It's a Ford 150 White. I will put a picture on this blog when I get one. But he took it home (to Hagerman) the same day he got it so I didn't have time to take a picture. He calls us all the time saying how much he loves it. I think he's very happy.
More news on Sarah, our friend with the new lungs. She's doing great. She has got off the vent and she has stood up. Wow and that is less than one week. Wonderful things happening here.
We have our tree up and I took a picture of it while Willie was talking to one of his cousins. I will get more pictures up here now that I know how it is working.
God's blessing on all of you.

Fantastic News!!!!
Will has a good friend named Sarah who has been going through the same path as Willie.
Well yesterday, Dec. 1, she got her new lungs. WOW!
Her friend, Summer, will keep us updated. This was such a blessing. This young woman, about Willie's age, has two children. She has been in the hospital pretty much full time for a long time now. She really needed this so now God decided it was her turn. We have been praying often for her. Anybody who reads this---she stills needs prayers. She has a long road ahead of her but what a great early Christmas present. We are so happy for her.

Good Weekend
This weekend started out very white. It snowed several inches. The mountains around Salt Lake City was beautiful.
The best part of the weekend was Angel's visit. Will and Angel went shopping. Boy was that a mistake. Angel kept wheeling Will places he didn't want to go. But they had fun together. Saturday seems to go by so fast when Angel comes up. She left at 1:00 on Sundyay. She sure knows how to "bug" her big brother. Doesn't he look like he's having fun???

Surprise visit
On the Friday after Thanksgiving, Willie's basketball team came up and surprised him with a visit. His mom and dad knew about it. So it was all set up to happen. We took Willie to the Training Table Restaurant and the girls were all there. It was a surprise totally. How fun! Then they all went to the mall and walked around while Willie and the other coaches watched the BSU game in a sports grill.
The next day Brent set up a "practice session" at the Westminster college so Willie could participate in that. That was so special. Afterwards they went to Olive Garden to eat lunch and the girls had some more fun time with Coach Harbison. It meant so much to him to be able to spend some time with his team. It was a special time.
