Just a quick update to let you know we know nothing. UGH!!! How's that for frustration. The tests came back inconclusive so we don't know why he is so weak. We are going to build him up and try again. His one doctor (the head of ICU) is gone now for three weeks. Now we have to break a new one in who doesn't know Will or us. That is so hard to handle when they finally get to know you like that and then poof, they're gone. UGH, UGH! Double frustration.
Don't know what else to say except I will let everyone know when we do. Please take care on this Tuesday.
Love to all
God bless

Keep your chins up guys!!!!! You will have the new doc broken in no time :)
Maybe this new doc will see something that the others have not! May God guide his eyes to make the difference in Will's recovery!!!
I'm very thankful that his results were not negative. Will you are doing great! Keep resting and hang in there! Terri and Tom you are awesome! Love you both - hugs all around...

Hi there! I'm a fellow CFer and I found your blog through Somer's. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us! I'm sending a lot of prayers your way.
KEEP FIGHTING WILL AND LISTEN TO THE DOCS FOR A CHANGE AND TAKE IT SLOW. I KNOW HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO MOVE, BUT GET YOUR STRENGHT BACK FIRST. I CAN IMAGINE HOW MUCH YOU AND HATING PLAYING TRICKS ON PEOPLE TODAY BEING THE BIG JOKESTER YOU ARE. LOOK OUT ANGEL FOR WHEN HE GETS BETTER. I'M SURE HE HAS LOTS OF TRICKS PLANNED FOR YOU. TRY NOT TO GIVE THE NEW DOC A HARD TIME WILL YOU.
WE LOVE YOU. EVERYONE ON PEDS SAYS HI.

Dear Harbisons - just a short note to tell you we are thinking of you and can relate somewhat to what you are going through. I can remember what it was like sitting in the hospital day after day waiting - I remember they always were going to do something at a certain time and it never happened when they said it would. We would wait and wait and they never showed up until we left for 5 minutes to have a bite to eat or make a phone call and THEN they would be there and we weren't! Sounds like things haven't changed that much. Must be a hospital "rule" or something! But we learned to take all "appointments" with a grain of salt and just read another chapter in our book while we waited. It is so frustrating and we so feel for you. Wish we could help make things better. So hang in there and know you have lots and lots of friends out here pulling for you and praying real hard that things will get better every day. Thank you so much for keeping us all so well informed. We may not all be "family" but you sure make us feel like we are and we all appreciate it so much. Keep on hanging in there!
Hi Harbisons - Just a short note to let you know we are thinking of you so much and remember just how frustrating it is in the hospital. I think they are all the same; when they say they are going to do something at a certain time it almost never happens that way and you can be waiting and waiting to talk to the docs, you will wait for hours and they never show up - BUT - just leave for 5 minutes to have a bite to eat or make a phone call and you miss them!!! At least that was how it was with us - I finally learned that when they mentioned a time to just take it with a grain of salt, don't count on it and read another chapter in your book! :-)
Hang there Will!!!! With so many people out here rooting for you there is surely no other direction to go but up! Good luck with the new doc! God bless you all!
I often look at thing this way..
Sometimes it takes something bad to happen for something great to happen.. You are all strong and I know you will get this rolling in no time.. Keep those smiles turned up!!
Love yall

I just wanted to share this daily prayer that was in our announcements here at St. Al's this morning. Hope it brings you comfort.
Daily Prayer:
Psalm 55:22 "Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."
"What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee."
Dear God: How reassuring it is to know that you love to care for us when we are pressed by burdens of life. We bring the burdens of our hearts to you this moment. Give us strength to bear the burdens and wisdom to deal with our challenges. Bring comfort, hope, courage, and peace to our patients and families. Surround all of us with your loving presence. Amen.
Hang in there. I love you!
Love,
Erin ~
